I am an MPhil student in Data Science and Analytics at HKUST(Guangzhou), defending my thesis CITRUS in May 2026. My research is on continuous physiological sensing across daily-life and clinical contexts — wearable PPG, cross-modal cardiac waveform reconstruction, and non-EEG sleep staging — with parameter-efficient state-space architectures as the connecting methodological thread.

The direction I care about is a unified environment for monitoring, modeling, and honestly evaluating physiological signals: models that stay reliable under motion, and systems that know when to abstain rather than report a confident wrong answer. I am applying for PhD positions for 2026/27 to push this further.
